Cherry blossom season was early this year, making my arrival a little late to catch the first blooms. Still managed to see sakura in the cities of Kagoshima, Kumamoto, and Fukuoka. Among the places visited include: Sakurajima Dinosaur Park and Yogan Nagisa Trail in Kagoshima, Sakuramachi shopping mall and Kumamoto castle grounds in Kumamoto, and Fukuoka castle grounds in Fukuoka.
