It’s about a 40-minute train ride from Cais do Sodré train station in Lisbon to Cascais station. From the train station walking by the coast goes through the old town, past the marina and museums.






Located by Ponta da Pombeira along the seaside cliffs is Boca do Infero (Hell’s Mouth), a chasm with an opening splashed by seawater.






On the way back, there’s Farol de Santa Marta (Santa Marta Lighthouse) and other historic buildings before taking the train back to Lisbon.
